Brooklyn, NY, ongoing, with STAT Architecture, project manager
A non-profit client commissioned STAT Architecture to create a 20-unit low income housing building in Brooklyn, NY. The project maximizes space in the apartments while conforming to BLDS and HPD standards.
STAT Architecture knew the building would stand out on the street, as at four stories, it is taller than the surrounding buildings. The strategy was to create a simple and pleasing building that worked with, not against its surroundings.
As project architect, I spearheaded coordination for all BLDS and HPD submissions, coordinated the client and tenant needs, and created drawings based on the owner’s intent.
